Pastor Kathleen was called to Hope Lutheran Church in December of 2007. She was ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on January 20, 2008 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland Hills, Texas. In addition to ministry at Hope, Pastor Kathleen is also pursuing her doctorate in Biblical Interpretation in New Testament at Brite Divinity School, Fort Worth, Texas.

Before coming to Texas in 2005, Pastor Kathleen received her Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in 2004 and 2005, respectively. She received a Bachelor of Arts in music and religious studies at Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York, in 1999.
